I am from Burma. I married american woman in December 2005 and I received my green card last month (january). It will be 3 years wedding anniversary in december. can i apply to receive citizenship in december or do i have to wait until january 2011 (3 years from when i get green card) to receive it. thank you for your response.

You will have to wait until it has been 2 years and 9 months, since you received the Green Card, to apply for citizenship. IF you are still married to that US Citizen person.
