  • When to file application

    Hello,

I just joined Immihelp.com... you guys have lots of great useful information on your site....

I just have a quick few question...

I am US citizen and want to apply for my wife; she came to on student visa. I believe I have all the forms (please correct me if I am wrong), I need to find out when I should submit each of the application or just send all of them at once.

I have the following forms filled out:

Petition for Alien Relative (USCIS Form I-130)
Application to Register Permanent Residence (USCIS Form I-485)
Permission for Work Authorization (USCIS Form I-765)
Request for Travel Documents (USCIS Form I-131)

What about medical and biographic application? When do I have to fill those out, or don’t have to?

Any other help would be great.

    Thanks a million in advance.

You will need her to have a medical examination, check form I-693.

And you two will need to fill out a G-325a each.

And you will need to file an I-864 for her.

And you must send all of these forms AT THE SAME TIME to the Chicago Lockbox.

Here is a link to the information you will need: https://www.immihelp.com/family-base...ons-in-us.html

Thanks so much for quick and prompt reply.

So I am on the same page, I will mail all of the following forms together

      Form I-130
      Form I-485
      Form I-765
      Form I-131
      Form I-693
Form G-325a for both of us
      Form I-864 for her

      1. The medical, do I need to get that done before sending in all the forms or wait for them to ask?
      2. Can any doctor do it or only INS approved?

      Thanks

You need to have the medical done BEFORE you send the forms... and it has to be an USCIS civil surgeon.
