Greencard for spouse of greencard holder

My sister is in The US and having a Green Card-lpr. She got married recently in India. Now she wants to take her husband there. I just want to know the best visa to take for my brother in law. If I go for family based immigration will it take time? My brother-in-law needs to be beside her as she is conceived. Can you help?
