Need info regarding spouse visa status

Dear Sir,

I am a a green card holder for 3 yrs now and have been working in us for 3 yrs now. I got married , my husband is working in india. what is the best way for my husband to come to usa asap. should i file for spouse visa status while iam on green card or wait for citizen ship. which is the fastest and legal way. he is a special ed teacher and iam a r.n. .your help will be so much apreciated
