    Ok, I am still not understanding this immigration stuff!

    I am a United States Citizen, I married a Canadian (IN THE US) and I want to immigrate him to the US.

    Why cant we file all of these forms (I-130, G-325, I-485,I-864, I693, I-765) together.

    Do I have to file the I-130 first, and dont understand why I need a K-3 visa for spouse, we married in US (although he is currently livig in Canada)

    Will file for any of these forms prevent him from entering the US for work?

    He can not enter the USA... as a "visitor" and you file for his green card. It is a fraud.

    He is NOT in the USA, so he can not file I-485. I-131. I-765. I-693. (Not at this time anyways.)

    You MUST file for a k-3 visa for him to come here legally, that or an immigrant visa process. It is up to you.

    He can not enter the USA for work either, no TN visa or anything, the only one he could use is an H1 or L1 visa.

      Thank you for the previous information. Two more things;

      one: when I am on the uscis website, the form I-130 is for a K-3 Visa, am I understading this correctly?

      two: I called the US visa business visa office and I was told my husband will STILL be able to travel to the US for his job and that he DOESNT need any type of visa for it. The representitive said filing for the K-3 will not interfer with his work related travel to the US!
