I am in serious trouble and any help will be appreciated. My fiancée is from India. She has an Indian passport which is expired now. She filed asylum in America and she got her Green Card 2 years back and her citizenship is in process. I am on H1 currently. We want to go India now for our marriage.
Problem: I have heard that she can not go back to India because she filed asylum here, until she becomes US citizen. Is that true? If yes, then is there any possible way to go to India for her (with me) and come back without any problem. We still have 3 months time for our marriage.
Please suggest me any solution or even if you can suggest an Immigration Attorney, who handles such cases, I will be really thankful to you.
