I am us citizen and I have filed I-130 for my husband; receipt date is august 20th 2007. its going to be six month and I still haven’t received approval letter . Does anyone have any idea that how long it will take for to get approval letter and once I received how long it will take to get visa.

Please join "Waiting for I-130 Receipt Notice still... " thread. If yours is Vermont Service Center, they are approving cases as of June 6, 2007. I have updated the spreadsheet with your details in the above mentioned thread. Please provide more information. Why didn't you file I-129F for K-3 visa ??? Now it is late.

i have received the receipt notice, but i am waiting for approval notice, my received date Aug 20, 2007 and notice date Oct 1, 2007. my file is at California service center. i didnt file I-129F because its was taking same amount of time at the time when i filed.

Thanks Nitshrut for your details ! Please come to our main thread where so many other folks are there to get the stats. It is "I-130 receipts still waiting...". Name is little confused, but we update the spreadsheet regularly over there.
