Hello Sodhi,
Has your I130 been approved? If Yes,the Priority date will help you understand how long the wait is, looking at the Visa bulletin.March 2010 visa bulletin shows f2b priority date as feb 02..April is yet to be published to see if their is going to be any movement.But you would be spending time on visa bulletin only after your I130 is approved and you have been given a priority date.Good news is that it is atleast moving every month.

guys april's 2010 visa buletin is out..for f2b visa band ...india the dates are mar02.

so most of you guys from india can expect your choice of agent form when the buletin wud say june2003...they are sending choice of agent form to those people who are 1 year away from their petition

one of the thread..its mentioning one person got choice of agnet form form oct 2002 in Jan 13th 2010,and u got choice of agnet form by feb 2nd for may 2003...so is it fastly moving???...

hi binoj only some categories including f2b are moving fast. By fast it means..only payment of fees and collecting of documents. Now you have to send all your docs to nvc (not mumbai usa embasy) after you pay the iv fees.
Nvc will review all docs and then forward the file to mumbai and then when your pd is curent you will get interview letter.

Accoring to the data available on website you must have recieved your interview letter and would be done with all the formalities....

Kindly let me know as I am also waiting for my visa....same category...

My grandfather filled petition for my father my mother my brother and for my self under F3 Visa category but as my age is above 21 I didn't get USA IMMIGRANT VISA on F3 category. Now my father is about to get his GREEN CARD in USA so is it possible for us to retaining the old priority date as we have in F3 category for filing my new visa petition for F2B or not ???? and if answer is yes how long it will take time for me to get visa interview??/
