Hi,

I have a doubt and will be very thankful if you can clarify it.I am on a F1 (student visa) in US for the past 2 years. Recently, my marriage got fixed and my would be has a green card. I want to know if I will get the GC incase I marry her.

If its possible, please tell me how much time approximately it takes to get EAD and GC.

It will take around 4 to 5 years for you to get green card.

Dear Sir,

Thank you very much for the mail. If you feel, I am not bugging you, I just want to ask one more question. I was told by one of my relatives that if I am in my home country (India), then it takes 4 to 5 years to get GC if I marry a GC holder here.

But I am here in US on legal F1 status for the past 2 years. So is it the same case for me also. Actually my would be got her GC only recently
(3 months back).
