Green Card options- Family or employment based?

Need to apply for a Green Card soon. Which of the following 2 options
would be quicker ?

1) My mother is a valid GC holder and can she file the GC for me since I
am an unmarried daughter over 21 ?

2) I hold an L1-A visa through my Company. Can the employer file the GC
for me ?

Please let me know which of the above 2 options can be selected with the least processing time.

Both options are available but option 2 is best. It will take many years in
option 1.
