i got my green card just now in jan 2008. I whould like to file my wife through green card. i really want to know that in how many year she will be able to come in usa..pls give me the right answer as some people say in 3 year some says in 5,6 ,7 . I want to know the the right time as i see that this is really a knowledgable site. i trust on this site. hoping for soon reply.

i have family based green card and i got it before marriage. so can you tell me how can i file and in how many days he will be able to come in usa.

it looks ike you have a long wait. For the spouse of a GC holder the current Priority Date is in 2002/3. That means the people who started the process then are getting theit GC processsed now.

if he can qualify for some other visa status like H1 L1 or F1 then he can join you earlier.
