My mother has come to US by Jan 2008 on visitors visa and my sister is planning to sponsor her GC.
We are in need of the following information regarding this process
1. We have filled all the documents required for this. If we file the GC papers now any idea on when we will come to know about the status ?. We will be sending it to Chicago Processing Center.
2. Her visitor visa is valid till July. If we dont get any status by that time what will happen to her visitor visa status ? Would it be nice idea to apply for Advance Parole now itself ?
3. Is it better to extend her visitor visa status after 3 months of her stay instead of waiting for any status update on her GC process ?
