Need information on Parents visa

My wife has green card. My mother-in-law(my wife's mother) passed away recently. Is there any way i can bring my Father-in-law from india to the US other than through visitor visa, so he can live with me and my wife for a long time. My wife has only one sister(no brothers) and she is also married. Thanks a lot for your information.

The only way is sponsoring for permanent residency, and it must be through his daughter. When she becomes an US Citizen.
