  • Filing I-130,I-485,I-765 together

Here is my question(s): I'm a canadian, here in the USA as a visitor. If I file all of these documents while I'm in the US, will I be able to leave the US and come back when I want? How soon, after filing these 3 documents, will I be able to work?

If I file the I-130 through consular processing in Canada, how long would it take to get processed and when would I be able to work in the US?
Any advice is greatly appreciated as I am incredibley confused about all this.
    Thanks!
    Lauren

Once you file for I-485, you must stay in the USA until you receive your Green Card. Or, you can use Advance Parole to travel but you must wait until it is approved (i-131).

A work permit takes 60-120 days nowadays.

Consular Processing varies from consulate to consulate, but I would estimate 6-10 months.
