  • I-130 documents for US citizen not born in US question

    Hello,
I got married to US citizen and we're preparing our forms for the USCIS. On I-130 my husband needs a proof that he's US citizen. He was born abroad (Thailand), his father is American. If I understand this correctly, either some certification of naturalization or some report of birth abroad is needed? He never got any in his life, he just applied for his US passport in Thailand and came to the United States. He is a citizen, he's in Navy, has his US passport and everything. So the question is, do we need some additional documents other then his passport?
Thanks to anyone who knows the answer and would be so kind to reply.

NO, you do not need anything else. A US passport is sufficient proof of his US citizenship.
