Reentering in USA on reentry permit.

Hi all the Gurus,
My mom is a greencard holder, and she is in India from last one and a half year. She has a reentry permit valid for 2 years which is expiring in August. She is planning to come here in USA in mid May. My question is, She need any document to show at the POE ? What kind of question she is facing at the POE? Any help is greatly appriciated. Thanks for all your help.

She may be questioned about why she left for so long, and if she actually intends to live in the USA. Another absence like that is NOT a good idea.

As far as documents, her passport, greencard, re-entry permit and information pertaining her ties to the USA.
