I-130 file or wait?

My husband is a permanent resident and he is going to file his N-400 next week. We have not filed form I-130 for me yet... Since the wait time for the citizenship is so much longer now, would it be a good idea to file that I-130? Will it save us some time or create more confusion?

I would suggest you file now. Atleast it will be in the system. No telling how long citizenship will take. Once he is citizen, just upgrade application with USCIS. Good luck.
