Can I appear earlier for the FP appointment than the mentioned date in the notice. If I do so does that help speed up the process, or does it hurt the process or no effect?

I have herd of people going in early to do their biometrics, some succeded, some didnt. Most go in there and say that they work on the assigned day, or whomever drives them there, works on the assigned day.
Me personally, I am not taking that chance, I live 3 hours away from uscis, but if you live near, or passing by, go for it, it cant hurt!

I also have fingerprints appointment this Saturday. The field office is two hors away from where I live, so i will be an hour prior my appointment hour just in case.
