Hi,
My husband and I would like to apply for the family based Green Card. He is an American citizen and both of us are currently students in the U.S.A.
The problem is that my husband lost his birth certificate. He can obtain the certificate, but it will take time until we will receive it. Is it possible to submit just a copy of his American passport or should we submit both documents (birth certificate + passport)?
