I got married to USC who is selfemployed on 12/19/2007 and I moved to her apartment on the 01/01/2008. I did not work during 2007. While she was filing her tax she chose her filing status as head of household. Now we are appyling for Gc and we are worried about this issue. We want to know how this filing status can affect the GC application and what are we supposed to do to avoid problems? Counting on your response and hope to hear from you soon.
