Please help me...I am married to a conditional permanent resident. I am in the process for filing for divorce. I believe that he married me only to get his green card because of many instances of abuse after the marriage, before going to a lawyer and getting his green card. He did get a green card because the lawyer made the interview very "pretty". He has to go back for the 2nd interview with me to become permanent. I do not want this for him. I want him to go back to the country he came from. What do I do to prove that he married me only for his green card? We have been separated since April 2006. Do not have ANYTHING together at all. Please help asap!

Get an immigration lawyer. He will have to file I-751 by himself and prove that the marriage was entered in good faith, if he can not, then he will have to go back to his country.Disclaimer: The information you obtain from me at this forum is not, nor is it intended to be, legal advice.
