  • Denial letter after stokes interview

    Hi
I am a married man for more than 2 years with a us citizen and i have a new born babygirl. I applied for a greencard in 2006 and we forgot my wifes birth certificate during the interview we had a copy of it during that time our lawyer and the officer told us that its ok. Than we had a letter saying that because we couldnt provide the original birth cert during the interview our application was denied than we applied again and during that interview the officer immideately told us that because we applied before and got denial she needs to see that application and the denial because of that she said she will reschedule the interview. during the 3rd interview they took us seperately but before the interview my wife was angry at me and she was staying with her mom and we were living seperately for sometime and during the interview they said some of our answers does not match and we will receive the result in the mail. I received the letter it says our application is denied because we answered some of their questions incorrectly. Now my question is can they deport me because of this? What happen if I stay like this without applying again? My brother is a us citizen and I can apply greencard to my parents than from my parents i can apply for my self but it takes at least 5 years I guess. Will it be ok if I stay here during that time? thank you in advance for your answers.

This entire application has been a mess. You need a competent lawyer. You will be put in deportation procedures and sent back home. You need to get a lawyer, a good one, fast. Filing through your brother will not help you. Because it will not give you any legal status and it will take 12-15 years. Filing through your wife if you are still married and plan to continue married is the only way.

        another question

        Hi I have another question.
with the denial letter, It says that I can appeal to this decision. Can I stay during the appeal? How long will it take to get a decision from the appeal?
or Is it better to reapply all over again?
Thanks in advance again for your help.
