Greencard through spouse

Hello Sir/Madam,

I would like have information about immigration issues. I came to usa on a visitor visa, then i got married . My husband is a green card holder. He has 3-4 years before his citizenship. I am now an overstay. I have also applied for j1 which got rejected. Now I want to know what my options are? Should I wait till my husband gets his citizenship?
