  • Worried about G-235A

    Hi,

As part of AOS application (I-130/I-485), I have filed G-325A for my husband(USC) and myself.

I am wondering if USCIS will do thorough investigation on the job history??? Before I filed AOS application through marriage(Feb 2008). I applied for F1 studetn visa back in my home country (in the late 2002), then H1B in 2006(applied in the US).

I did not remember what i wrote in the application in 2002 ( filed with US consulate office in Thailand). So, I am not sure if all the information will be matched. And, if they find any discrepancies, they will deny my case? Does anyone know if details like job history matter?? Will they investigate thouroughly like calling all the employers we put on that form??

    Hello,
My husband had some discrepancies on his G325 and on his original paperwork he filed for his visa in Colombia. We had the interview today, and the woman who interviewed us said that the state department had said that there was "fraud" in my husband's entry to the country, because his address and employment were unverifiable. They're asking that we submit documents to prove his employment and place of residence. So, I advise you to stick to what you said when filing for your visa in your country, if at all possible, and if not possible, be honest and get a lawyer ASAP.

      Hi,

Thank you for sharing your experience. I am wondering what do you do next in response to this situation?? If you have already consulted with a lawyer, what are the advises?? I appreciate if you could share with me so that i can be prepared...

And, did you get any RFE before the interview???

      Thanks.
