GC Applications for my mother

Neen help!!

My mother will be visiting us on visitor visa for hopefully 6 months in AUg 2008. We are considering to apply for her greencard.
If i sent her I-130 applications now would she still be allowed to use her visitor visa? If not what are my options for her I-130 application?

Fees and more

So just to make sure i'm clear...

So its suggested that i wait until my mother gets back to her country and then apply for I-130 right?

Fee: When reading instractions on I-130 form it says i need to pay $190.00 but the website says i need to pay $355.00 which one is correct?

Also, I think i need to file a seperate I-130 for both my parents as i'm a US Citizen is that correct?

I am kinda in the same shoes as well. My wife is eligible to apply for citizenship so granted this is not going to happen for atleast another year. But her parents want to come visit us on a more regular basis. They have a 10 yr multiple entry visa but I have heard the restrictions on how long they can stay in the US is getting worse - from 6 mo's to 3 mos at a time. So the questions is when my wife does get her citizenship should she apply for her parents green card while they are here or - what is the proper way of doing it. I read knowledgable's response - so r u saying that we should apply when they are still in India - but then the question is can they not come to visit us while we have applied for their green card??
