Help and advice needed

HELP!!! I have a concern and hope that somebody helps me with this.My parents GC has been applied a few months back ,but it will take several months or probably years to get one.They have 10 years multiple entry visa.They want to come to visit us and then go back ,will they have problems at the port of entry?
Does it mean that till their GC is processed they cannot visit us?

If the POE officer finds out about the immigrant petition that is pending, the visitors would stand a chance to be sent back.

I think they can visit on visitor's visa as long as it's valid.

It is not necessary that they will be stopped. Sometimes, these pending peititions may be overlooked. If they are indeed stopped for the pending immigrant petition, they should show evidence that they have opted for consular processing and they will be returning to complete that. Also, show a return ticket.
The agent will let them in if he is convinced that their stay is temporary.
