hi,
the chennai, u.s consulate suggests to have mother's MAIDEN name in the affidavit created.
"Should these certificates be unobtainable, a close relative, preferably the applicant's mother, should prepare a notarized statement giving the place and date of the applicant's birth, the names of both parents, and the maiden name of the mother'"- u.s consulate, chennai.
QUESTION: i donot have that information in my affidavit. (i have included all other details like both parents name, date of birth, place of birth etc)
in India, even in original birthcertificates they dont put mother's maiden name.
but since it is clearly stated for the AFFIDAVIT, should I be worried?
should I go ahead and create a new affidavit and discard the previous one?
Thanks
