Should I get a new card for PR extended one year?

I am in the process of removing my conditional PR. USCIS sent me the receipt letter of my application and saying my PR will be extended for a year before the final decision. Should I expect a new green card with the new expiration date? If not, how can I travel out of US with my current green card that showing my PR has expired?
