    I'm filing I 864 for my mother.
I have never worked in my life. so in the affidavit of support, i have to check "unemployed" column. But they also ask, Unemployed since? what should I write?
If I write since 2001.(the time I got greencard) will it make sense? or should I write 1997 (the year I came to U.S)?
Eventhough my husband's income is well above the povertyline guidelines, will there be any problem for my mother to get the green card?
    Thanks

Just put 1997, and there should not be any problem if your husband (he must file an i-864 for her too) meets the requirements for all 3 of you.
