some doubts regarding Greencard process

Hi Guys,

I have seen couple of blogs on the whole greencard process when you marry a US Citizen but i am still confused as to whats the whole process.

I am marrying a US citizen next month in usa and currently i am on H1 which is valid till 2012.

After i will get married, i will be submitting following forms related to the process. I just wanted to confirm if there is anything else that i need to submit other than the following and also if you guys could answer couple of doubts i have.

1. I-130
2. I-485
3. I-765
4. G-325A

regarding I-864, who will be filling that form, my spouse or me? and do i have to submit that form along with the I-130?

Also, can I submit all the above forms including I-864 at one time?

also when do i have to submit the form for Medical? Can i submit that form along with I-130?

usually how much time it takes to approve I-130, I-485 and how much time will it take for me to get an EAD?

is there anything else that i need to send?

this is right.

i-130 will include his g-325a and your g-325a
i-485 will include your g-325a (yes, an additional one), i-864 and medical
i-765 doesn't need any other form.

i don't think you need to file i-131 since you have a valid h1 visa and i guess you can travel outside the US anytime you want and come back without any problem, right??

regarding I-864, who will be filling that form, my spouse or me?

normally, your spouse, but if his/her income is not enough, and since you have a h1 visa and i am assuming you have a legal job, you could include your income as well and i don't know exactly how it goes here but i think you have to fill out your own either i-864 or i-864a, not quite sure. but if his/her income is above poverty guidelines according to his household (i guess just the both of you=2), your fine and just need him/her to fill out that form.

and do i have to submit that form along with the I-130?

along with i-485

sure, you send everything to the address where you send i-485

you can do it now when you send all of the above, but along with i-485

don't know yet, i helped my sister to do this and now she is on the line, so i will let you know, check my signature at the end of my messages also.

is there anything else that i need to send?

not that i know of. just make sure you send all the evidence needed, make sure you fill out all of the forms correctly, don't forget to sign the checks, any more questions, just asks.
