GC approved and received
Hello everyone,
I am happy to inform that I received my conditional GC yesterday. I got married to my USC wife in August 2007 and we applied on January 04, 08. I was on F-1 before applying and was never out of status.
My timeline is:
01/04/08 - Applied for I-130/I-485/I-131/I-765 with all supporting documents
01/10/08 - Notices received
02/02/08 - FP done
03/16/08 - AP and EAD received
05/21/08 - Interviewed along with my wife
05/22/08 - Application approved and welcome notice sent
06/12/08 - GC arrived in mail
We did the application ourselves by just reading through this great website along with the USCIS website. We wish to thank all the members that contribute to the forums on this website, especially the senior members like PraetorianXI and Knowledgeable.
My advice to all applicants is to be very detail oriented while applying, especially when doing it without an attorney. All the needed information is available on this website and the USCIS website. Makes checklists and keep a track of documents needed for every application that is to be turned in.
