    6. My mother's birth certificate
    7. My Birth Certificate showing both my and my mother's name
    8. All pages of my mother's indian passport

The above are clipped as one packet

    9. I-485 form
    10. 2 photos of my mother

    1. I-130 Form
    2. Check (for $355, I assume)
    3. 2 Photos of my mother
    4. My naturalization certificate
    5. My passport copy (just the page where it shows my name and photo)
    6. My mother's birth certificate
    7. My Birth Certificate showing both my and my mother's name
    8. All pages of my mother's indian passport

The above are clipped as one packet. You are missing a passport photo of yourself. Only 1 photo of your mother is needed. Also missing is Form G-325A for your mother and Form G-325A for you.

    9. I-485 form
    10. 2 photos of my mother
    11. Check (for $1,010, I assume)
    12. My mother's birth certificate
    13. My mother's passport page with the US visa
    14. I-94 copy
    15. My mother's indian passport just the page showing photo
    16. Medical check up sealed packet
    17. G-325A (for your mother, I assume)
    18. I-864
    19. 2007, 2006, 2005 Tax returns (don't forget to include copies of all supporting tax documentation: W-2's, 1099's etc, you will get an RFE for them if you don't).
    20. My employment letter
    21. My Bank statements, etc. (what does "etc." consist of?)

All the above are clipped as one packet. It wouldn't hurt to include 6 months of paystubs with I-864.

    22. I-131 form with 2 photos
    23. I-94 copy What's needed is a copy of your mother's passport, not I-94.

(I am not enclosing any check for I-131)
I assume all foreign language documents (such as, maybe, your mother's birth certificate), are provided in copy and certified translation.

Please let me know what I am missing in the above

    Thanks

      Hi SweetPiano

Thank you for your help. I appreciate it,

      1. To your question of what does "etc" mean below, I am attaching my stock account, 401 K account statements, Property title record,

      2. Also I read G325A is not required for myself - I guess there is no harm in putting it there?

      Thank you again

If your income exceeds the poverty lines, then you don't need to attach these. But if not, then I guess you filled out the optional asset section and these are the evidence.

I know that for green card applications for spouses, a G-325A is required for the US citizen spouse. But if you read somewhere that in the case of sponsoring a parent, a G-325A is not required for the US citizen, then that's good.

          Threemore questions to SweetPiano

          1. I am applying for my mother's green card. My father died 21 years ago in India and we cannot find the death certificate. Is this a must? Since I cannot find it, is there an alternative like Affidavit, etc.

          2. Me and my wife both work and my tax returns shows joint income. But my income is over 90K. Should I use my wife as a co-sponsor and fill in I864A. If I do not do that, will there be any issues since my wife is on the tax returns filed. Also in the I-864 form where it asks, income from your 2006 tax return should I show the total income or should I seperate out my income if I do not want to fill I-864A for my wife?

          3. Also, what is your suggestion on arranging all these (I-130, 485, 131). Do you think I should put each in seperate envelopes and put these in one big envelope OR just clip each set and put everything in the envelope?

          Thank you
          Sincerely
