  • Three simple qustions about I-130

    Hello,

I am in the process of filling out the I-130 forms for the visa and have three questions:

    1) Is it true that I must not leave any question blank? I've heard of applications being returned because one question was left blank. I heard that you should put either N/A or "None." Well, what's the difference? Would I put "None" in say employment if my wife didn't work as opposed to N/A.

    2) Can I include photo copies of my and my wife's marriage, birth and divorce certificates as opposed to the originals when I send them to the INS (we both live overseas), or do I have to include originals? I know that for the embassy interview you have to obviously have the originals but can I just include copies of it when I first send it to the INS for the initial processing.

    3) And lastly, I live overseas with my wife. Before that I lived in New York City. I heard that the I-130 no longer goes to Vermont but that it goes to Missouri. Is this correct? What address should I send it to?

Thank you all for your help if you could help me with these questions.

Did you get a chance to ...

... read the instructions in the form itself? Try that and you'll be surprised to find a lot of valuable information and all the answers to your questions.

    1. Yes. You'd put none.
    2. Yes, notarized copies.
    3. No idea, sorry. Read the instructions or check the web site.

Read all about it at www.ImmiHelp.com - the main web site where you will find tons of valuable information.

Did you know that you can use "Advance Search" option in the forum to look for valuable information already posted several times over?
