Applying for parents GC

Hi,
Presently my parents are in US and I want to apply for their GC. As on their behalf, do i need their birth certificates or my birth certificate is good enough with both my parents names. Do they need to submit their marriage certificate. Are there any other supporting documents on their behalf. Also if my birth certificate is not in English and my name is not there in it (as it was generally the case in India), so can i submit affidavit of support with it to verify my name and translation. Even if my parents birth certificates are not there, what is the other alternative.
