CR1 Immigrant Help
Hi,
My wife recently arrived in the US with a CR1 Status on her Visa. I'm excited but I have 3 questions and hope someone could assist.
1) We have been married for more then 2 years before she got her Visa. I read somewhere that since we have already been married for 2 years, 8 CFR 235.11(b), she should have been approved for a LR1. Is there something that was incorrectly processed and how could I get that changed?
2) Upon her arrival she did not get her I-94 and that is needed for her to get her SSN. I could not locate the A number for the SSN personal to process. Is it the red 8 digit on the bottom right of her Visa?
3) How long does it take for her to get her GC after her arrival? With the all the people arriving the day she arrived, she did not get any additional information. Will she be getting a Welcome packet and GC in the mail with her SSN? I remember checking of the box asking for it to be mailed with the GC as well.
