questions about green card process

i wanted to know if you are married for more than 2 years to a us citizen then file for green card and ead,will you first get the temporary green card or they will give you the permanent card?and also can you travel with the temporary one?thanx.

permanent, 10 years.

but regardless of what kind you get, they are both good to travel, work, study and live in the USA.
