HI GUys.. Im a greencard holder and filed a petition for my wife and kids in the pHilippines. I sent the form i-130 last April 2008. After a few weeks I received a NOtice of Action, saying that they received the payment that I made. BUt until now I haven't received any notice of approval yet. Its been 4 months now. Is it really that long? I miss my family a lot.

It could take up to 6-8 months... but regardless of that... your family will not be able to get a visa available for them to come for 5-6 years... are you aware of that?

Thanks Praetorian.. Yap, Im aware that It would take 5-6 yrs. But I have to do this for their future. I guess I just have to visit them once a year.
