Divorce and get marry while i-485 Pending

i married in 2007.and applied for i-485 my spouse is citizen but due to some reasons i dont think this marriage will work. my
1-485 is pending. i was thinking to get divorce and get marry with my old girl friend..she is also citizen and mother of my child.is anyone know how it work.if i get divorce and get marry again.could create problem ?and how long it take to get divorce final ?

Your old I485 is invalid and you have to apply again based on the new marriage.

Your current wife needs to withdraw her I-130 (if it is not approved) and you withdraw your I-485.

You will have to wait until the divorce is final before you can do anything. How long it will take depends on you and your wife. It varies by state.

Expect a HARD questioning session from USCIS to prove that you are not just hopping from one marriage to USC to the next just to get a GC.
