Original documents

The NVC asked for original documents (my fathers death certificate and my mother original birth certificate) to complete my mother's visa.
So when they will return that to me, i am so confused???
I appreciate if any one let me know the process.

looks like in consular processing, you have to send all the originals to NVC and they will send it to the u.s consulate in the concerned country. I think the originals will be returned after the interview.
i dont have any personal experience, so i dont know the full details.

Hi,
what other documents did you send to nvc?
1. did you send police clearance certificate, medical reports?
2. did you send proof of relationship: your old passports?
i dont mean to scare you, I'm asking for the information so I can be prepared. I'm assuming you have opted for consular processing.
