Eligibility Requirements confusion for I-130/visa

My dad (GCH) sponsored my sister when she was unmarried in 2003.She is married now,my question is would she be able to get her immigrant visa when it becomes available as she met the requirement at the time petition was filed or she will be denied because she is married at the time of visa issuance .

If your sister married before your dad became an US Citizen, then the petition is voided/cancelled.

If your sister got married your father will have to become a US Citizen in order to sponsor her, this process last aproximately 8+ years. Hope this help you..
