I 130 Petition approved
Here is my husband's situtation
He have been married for almost 7 years now and we have a 4 yr old daughter. Im a American Citizen and he is a Mexican National .
We have a attorney but it seems like he doesnt help us. Anyways I had filled out a immigrant petition for relation (case type i130) on oct 30,2001 and the petition has been approved. That is the furest we got. The attorney told us that we cannot filled out adjustment of status since we got married after the 245I law that was extended due to getting married after. So what do we do, my husband doesnt even have a work permit or anything, I think that at least he should be able to get something. Can someone help us.
Also his employer that he use to work for filed a petition for him so they can help him and since the company moved and my husband is no longer with that company , is his petition still valid. After the employer moved , he received something from the immigration stating that his case is closed. I think that he was going to be in process but since he was not with the company they closed and canceled the case. Should that matter? I really dont know anything about this immigration stuff but I think that waiting and waiting doesnt do any good and you need to seek answers. Do anyone know of a good attorney or lawyer that helps with Immigration that has free legal aid??????? I appreciate your time and patience. I hope that someone can give me advice because it seems like the lawyer doesnt care about my husband's case. HELLLLPPP. Thanks.
