  • Benefits of the I-130 versus I-129f?

Hello Everyone. I am some what confused about the next step. Our 130 and 129f have been approved. Finally. I think??? that we would like to go with the k-3 visa to bring him here (faster). The National Visa Center has sent all kinds of forms requesting $70 then $400. I sent in the $70 because the letter said that they would not proceed until they received it. Which way is the @ fastest to bring him here? NVC has received our DS3230 and agent of change letters. Right now he is gathering police records (none), kids passports, and medical examination. He has marriage license, birth certificates, photos, 797 notices. etc.
How do we let them know that we want to use the K-3 visa? Do we need to tell NVC of our choice. Correct me if I am wrong but the I-130 takes longer but he will have a green card when he arrives. I-129f is faster but once he arrives he has to adjust his status. How much is it to adjust status? Is it more economical to do one versus the other. I have not gotten much understanding from NVC. So, please explain and "advise". We are in one of the final stretches and need a little more umph! Thanking you in advance.

    Benefits of I-130 versus I-129f

Helloooooooo. Anybody home??? I was saying to myself, I said hey self, self said what's up? I said how come no one answered us? Self said I really don't know since this site has been so helpful in the past. But I rarely ever see post beyond once someone gets to the National Visa Center. I said yeah I know but its cool. We will continue to wait and hopefully an interview date will come.
A LITTLE HUMOR TO BREAK THE MONOTONY. What's going on Senior Members? A little help please.
NVC said that I need to pick one or the other. It seems that it is about MONEY for NVC, at least MORE money than just going through Embassy and adjusting later (once arrived). I am confusederated. New word. You have my permission to use it at any time to refer to the immigration process. Good luck to you all and continue to look on the bright side. If anyone has finished the interview process, please share your experience, it would be so very helpful to me and others. Thanks.

It is likely that no one has knowledge or opinion about what you are asking. You are not being ignored, you are in a part of the forum that has fewer postings than others.

You are now bumped where your posting is more obvious.

PS. I love your new word! Very appropriate!
