Hi,
I have applied for I-130 for my parents and then I applied for I-485 for them with just recepit of I-130 and not approval when they are here on visitor visa.
I did receive approval later for I-130 , Advance Parole & Employment authorization already for them. I did recieve RFE for both of them & I did sent documents to them & processing started as well as per case status.
I have applied for I-130 in Dec 2007, I-485 in March 2008 & received RFE in Jun 2008 and processes resume on 13th Jun 2008.
It seems now I-130 is approved for both of them and It is now sent to NVC as per approval notice & I-485 is processing with Local field office in Newark NJ.
Does local office contact NVC to get approved I-130 for I-485 processing ?
Also, I did receive AOS fees for CP which I never asked for in first place from NVC & I am worried NVC might have sent application to India ?
Does any one face same issue OR help me with your understanding of how these agencies really work ?
I did go to Newark, NJ office to inquire about case status with my parents and they said its still under processing without checking ?
