Green Card for Spouse

My cousin is a doctor from India and came on B1/B2 to attend a residency interview and married a US citizen.

My cousins wife wants to apply the green card for her husband. What is the process to apply the GC? Is there any risk of rejection because of his visa status (B1)?

Please provide some guidance.
