how long after requested docs sent

At the I-485 interview the officer requested to send my Birth Certificate orignal document by mail. Do you know how long it takes for INS to return the orignals and How long it ususally take before I hear from them.

Hi,

today I got a reply from INS stating "Please resubmit the document with authenticity and accuracy verification from the counsular office"

Can anyone please tell me how to interpret this. I had submitted orignals + copies of non-availiblity birth certificate + 2 affadavits from relatives confirmin birts records for my mom.

They kept the copies and returned the orignals.
