DS-3032 emailed.....no autoresponse

Please help me guys. I am panicing. I already paid my AOS bill and filled and sent it out today. However, when it comes to the Choice of Agent which I chose to email......my husband has emailed it from 3 different email accounts: gmail, yahoo, and hotmail. WE ARE NOT RECEIVING THE AUTORESPONSE THAT MANY PEOPLE HAVE SAID THEY RECEIVE AS SOON AS THEY SEND THE EMAIL. So.....we have tried sending it many many many times. Still no autresponse.

Anyone out there that can make us feel a little better?????

Anyone who did not receive an autoresponse but actually received an acceptance a few days or weeks later? I just want to make sure that NVC is actually receiving the emails. I figured that if im not getting an autorespose....it would mean they arent getting it or it is going into their spam folder. PLEASE HELP.

I never received an auto response and didn't worry about it. About 7-8 days after sending the email, the IV invoice appeared on-line and I was able to make an online payment.

Further, older posts in this and other forums claim that you have to wait to hear from NVC before sending in I-864. There is no need to wait when you make online payments. I waited unnecessarily and never received a letter from NVC asking for I-864. Instead, wait for the online status of the AOS invoice to change from "in process" to "PAID", print out the NVC cover sheet available on the online receipt page and send that along with I-864.


Further, NVC asks for original Police, Birth, Marriage certificates and photocopies won't suffice. It seems that either originals or "certified true copies" need to be submitted.

Hey thanks...that makes me feel better. I shall wait. Yeah, i saw that I could aready pay the I864 so i did and i already printed out the cover letter and send it with the form.

Now, I am waiting for my IV fee to be invoiced...its status right now shows "not invoiced" which i guess means they are waiting on the DS3032 email still (which i sent and hope that they receive soon. My husband also sent the hardcopy from Turkey just incase).

About the originals. See.....i am sending originals of everything but my marriage certificate. I am going to send a copy of that because i cant afford to lose it. My two relatives sent only a photocopy of theirs ad it was accepted. Hope mine works out too. I will attach a note saying "cannot retain another if this orignal is lost. will provide original at interview" Hope that'll be fine.

Yup ...

... you do not have to send the original documents but may have to show the officer during the interview.

This ensures your documents are safe and they don't have to take undue responsibility.

Also....my IV fee online says "Not invoiced" for status.....thats ok right? I figured this basically meant that i can't pay yet. I guess until the DS3032 is received.

WAHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! I was able to pay for my IV!!!! They accepted my DS3032...I received an email. Sooo.....basically, I didn't receive the autoresponse. Everyone I have called so far at NVC kept telling me "If you dont get the auto response, it means we didnt receive you email." However.....we sent it from 4 different emails and 3 different comps. And guess what? The original email, althought it didnt get an autoresponse, actually got an acceptance response 9 days later. SOOOO TAKE THAT NVC!!!!
