Greencard/Citizenship

If the father has a green card, does that mean his children can have one under 18 yrs. old. If there are other children born here are they citizens ?

We are trying to understand laws. Thank you

1. If father has greencard, he can sponsor his minor unmarried children. It will take 4-5 years though.

2. If the child is born in the U.S., he/she is U.S. citizen.
