alien married to a USC in the US but no papers were filed

I have a friend who was brought here as a fiancee and they got married before the 90 days were over. The problem is that it has been a year since and her husband did not submit her change of status application yet. Is there anything she can do about it?

Get an immigration lawyer. It is the best way, there is hope but the paperwork will be tough.
