Name change and filing I-130

Hi! My boyfriend and I have decided to get married at the last minute while I'm on tourist visa. I want to have my family name changed to his name. However, my I-94 is expiring soon. So, there won't be enough time to apply for a name change in my Consulate and get the updated passport in time for submission of the forms (I-130, I-485, I-765, I-864, I-693).

My question is can I just apply for a change name after we have submitted the forms to USCIS? Will this affect our application?

So maybe just change names after everything is said and done. I don't personally know the ramifications of changing names mid-application, but certainly sounds a bit risky to me. Better to play it safe and wait until the immigration dust settles.
