FAMILY BASED IMMIGRATION.(No joint sponsor avilable with us)
Hi,
My uncle( US citizen) petitioned for my family(Dad/mom/my younger bro/me) in 1995.
Our interview was scheduled in may 2007.
I was not allowed for interview as i already turned 21 yrs old by this time.
Rest of family members were allowed.
However, due to some domestic reasons the interview was attended only by my dad.
My uncle left US in 2001 and is now jobless and has only bank account in USA. But the bank statements were not shown during the process prior to the interview,( at NVC through post.) i.e. all the docs were shown on the day of interview.(I hope u got this).
Anyways my dad was denied the visa under 221g. They were asking for joint sponsor(Even after showing the 5 times the diff of poverty guidelines and income which is only bank account).We dont have anyonewho can be our joint sponsor, as my uncle got separated with his wife.
My questions are:
1.How much time will it take again for me to get the Immigrant visa after my dad files a petition (if suppose he gets a visa somehow)
2.Can we hire a joint sponsor? ( I am redoutable about this)
3.What about the interview of my other family members as they missed it.
As consulate didnt tell anything abt them after that.
